Luther William Wade II
August 19, 1949- August 5, 2016

Luther Wade II died August 5, 2016, at Greenwood Leflore Hospital. Mr. Wade was born August 19, 1949 in Greenwood, graduated from Greenwood High in 1968, attended the University of MS where he played football, and eventually farmed his family farm “Star of the West.”

He is preceded in death by his parents Robert Wilford and Mary Elizabeth Webb Sr., and a brother Steven Tully Webb. He is survived by his wife, Vikki Wallis Wade of Greenwood; sons, Luther Wade III (Lyndsey) of Greenwood, Todd Wade (Mary Morgan) of Oxford, Justin Wade (Natalie) of Dallas, TX, and four grandchildren, Luther William Wade IV, Mary Harper Wade, Madeline Marie Wade and Mackenzie Katherine Wade. He is also survived by a brother, Robert Wilford Webb, Jr.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 8, 2016 from 12:00PM until 2:00PM at Wilson and Knight Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00PM Monday, August 8, 2016 at Wilson and Knight Funeral Home. The Dr. Billy Ray Stonestreet will officiate.
