Barbara Champion Bush

Have been living in AR since 1977. I married in 1979 and have lived here in Little Rock in the same house since 1985. I've been in and out of teaching over the years. I got a spurt of energy a few years ago and got another degree. So now I've started a new career as a school librarian!

Now that I work in a high school, I have thought many times about leaving school (skipping!)with Jeanne Young just a few weeks before we graduated. We went to Antoons and were trying on swim suits when Jeanne was called to the phone. It was the school calling to find us. There was someone at the school to talk to Jeanne about a scholarship!We made a fast exit and got her back to the school in a hurry!
